Geotargeting is the practice of tuning advertising, news, product offerings or other online content to a specific region or country. Google is now offering geotargeting as a feature for buyers of specific keywords. The feature providers users with maps, reports and analyses of the originating points of visitor traffic. The high level of granularity provided by geotargeting enables users to identify which markets have the greatest profit potential and minimize wasted "pay-per-click" spending.
