It seems every week brings a new, "must-have" smartphone these days. This week, enter "Chocolate," a handsome handset from LG. The phone has already sold 1 million units outside of the US. Verizon hopes to market the phone's music capabilities, pairing Chocolate with music downloads through Vcast on the wireless company's 3G network. Here's CNET's review, which admires the design and imagery capabilities while questioning battery life and video playback. ZDNet wasn't nearly as kind. David Berlind raises a number of important DRM considerations with regards to those music downloads over at this post on "Between the Lines."
